My first blog post

What excerpt? It’s my first post. ‘Nough said!

Humm, I had no idea creating a website would be so easy!  I’m going to leave the title “my first blog post” so that one day I can look back at this and laugh at myself, hopefully laugh with myself.

<They’ve even inserted a stock picture below for me!  How cool is that?  I can move it around and I’m sure if I wanted to fiddle with it more, I could even change it.  But this experience today is about getting published.  It doesn’t have to be perfect yet, it just has to be REAL.>

post

I imagine that I will look back and see how much fun I had, how little I know now that I am first starting out, and how far I’ve come.  I’m so excited, I can hardly wait.

I’m bringing you along for the ride.  In fact, I’m showing you that if I can do this, you can do this too!  And this journey is more about you than you even know yet.

I’ve uncovered some really useful tools along the way to getting here.  Some of them were easy to find, but I took a few nasty cuts and bruises to get to to some things in my toolbox, and I don’t want you to have to go through the same thing.

Oh, I have no doubt you have your own battle wounds to showcase, which is part of why I’m opening this site up to crowd sourcing – once I figure out how.  I imagine your toolbox has some pretty impressive tools in it too, and I’m hoping you’re willing to share them with others.  So what are we waiting for???  Let’s get started!

Hi there! I’m the Vice President of Reporting & Analytics and Implementation at a large talent management consulting firm. I’m passionate about my work and have a strong track record of success in the RPO and Talent Acquisition space. My superpower? Building effective teams! I love developing leaders, coaching, and motivational speaking. When I’m not working, you can find me cheering on my kids at their sporting events, exploring new cultures through travel, tending to my garden, or getting lost in a good philosophy book. All the opinions I share are my own. I am fallible, but I believe in failing fast and course correcting.
